Time Warp

  You may have noticed a that last few entries have disappeared from this blog and the content and format appear to be a year old...

Yes, that is the case.  

Hard drives fail (3 of them!). Computers fail.  Power supplies fail, Backups fail. 'nuff said <sigh>

My linux box has always been created from the cast offs created when I upgrade my gaming machine into something that is no longer mockable at work by the gaming elite. That is my plan again, hopefully during the holidays when I have more time - I've found that upgrades (especially Windows) require you to reserve a couple of days just for tales of woe. This sad upgrade process is apparently true for the Apple Mac as well.

Anyhow, back to this site. For now, this site as well as jsdx  will be served from my trusty Slug which has been unslung and turbocharged into a TurboSlug. 

It's only 100 times slower than the previous hardware but it still runs apache and php. FWIW, it also runs J9 but that's a different story.
