Again, Green Lake was the destination. In theory there are brookies which I still cannot verify. We caught sunfish.

You can catch them off the docks right downtown We saw lots of fishermen and they were letting go the 36-39 inchers because the minimum is 40 inches...

Cirque du Soleil

Went to montreal for the day to see the Cirque du Soleil ... The show is called Corteo and its pretty cool. Lots of acrobatic stunts and tricks. We sat right at stage level. This close, the performers are close enough to touch...

Fun for the whole family. The show is in the vieu port area so the kids can see La Ronde from there. Next trip, we exchange culture for fear.

Algonquin bound again

The weather looks good. It should hold off on the rain and be nice and warm so we're off to the wilds again this weekend.
Big trout to catch and tall tails to tell... report when we get back,

Algonquin Park - April 2005

Due to bad weather we cancelled our trip to Algonquin park for the opener or so we thought... Pete, who has weather on the brain, watched the report until he saw one he liked so, early saturday, he woke me with a phone call and said "lets go"... So we did ... We assumed the "student weathermen" were on call on the weekend and the weather report would be wrong but how could we tell unless we went there ?.

So, the drive was not encouraging... It rained the whole way there but stopped when we got closer (only spit all day, not enough to get you wet).
