Made me laugh...

I was playing with this new Facebook fishing community site and when I went to my profile it showed me as #2 in Ontario... woo hoo, very impressive.

Boat Detritus

End of year and the boat goes away until spring - a sad day for sure. Part of the fall ritual is to clean up the boat from the remnants of a fishing season including a wide range of plastics which accumulate in the back of the boat. This year looks like twister tails and senkos ruled the day.

Cold Day, Hot Fishing

Was a cold day, high of 9 C but that didn't stop the fish from hitting well. Many many fish to the boat today - here's a selection.

Of course, the fishing was so hot, we had air cover from some jet fighters.

Algonquin Fall Closeout

Caught some smaller brook trout. Even long arming the photo didn't help

Sunny Fall Day

And the fishing was slow. Stll managed a 3+ pounder ... evidenced here despite the focus issues.

Boil Season

Second time in a week when I've been out fishing an all of a sudden there are lots of little fish breaking the surface because of bigger fish attacking the schools. You'd think it was easy fishing but most of the time the real baitfish look better than the fake lures. Nevertheless, some success.
